In 2017, I had my first solo show in New York City, with Massey Klein Gallery. Created during a time of grief and loss, these meditative works were a contemplative expression of the process healing. The largest piece is titled Deep to Deep, which was also the title of the show. “Tumult”, “Clarity”, and “Stillness”, were exhibited as a three part narrative for inner conflict and resolution, while also existing well autonomously. The Sugition series is inspired by my time in the South of France, hiking through The Calanques National Park. These works-on-paper were a developed expression of France’s southern coast, while also being personal to my own process of healing during that time.
